Description

This 32-hour 4-day course includes oral, written, and practical instruction covering various required sections and chapters of NFPA 99, NFPA 55, and ASSE 6000. Applicants must successfully take and pass a 100-question written exam as well as a practical brazing exam. Medical Gas Certification is a requirement in Florida and in most of the United States. Plumbing companies in Florida that install, and repair, these life safety systems an equipment must be certified by an approved training agency that is certified by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board. Class Contents: NFPA 99 Gas and Vacuum Systems code following the ASSE 6010 Standard. Indentification components. Installation materials and methods. Brazing Skills using oxygen, acetylene torches with rosebud tips while purging the system with nitrogen. Presented by: Florida Medical Gas (FMG).
