Contract Negotiations Workshop

Description

Construction is a tough business. Margins can be tight, standards are exacting, and the risks can be incredibly high. This one day workshop will help construction professionals better understand contracts and develop practical negotiation strategies to protect their companies and manage risk. 


Participants will learn how to: 

  • Translate complex legal language, including indemnification clauses 
  • Identify contract terms and conditions that may put their company at risk 
  • Modify contract language to create more balanced and acceptable terms 
  • Address payment provisions, including change orders 
  • Develop negotiation strategies that can be applied immediately
